I would really like to give this a 2-star rating, but the customer service was so bad (thanks, Danny - here's to you!) that I couldn't. I check in last night at 12:30 AM (or technically this morning) as the airport was crazy and it took me 3 hours to get my luggage and rental car. The woman at the front desk was not happy to see me, asked me "How did you get in here?", and reluctantly took my reservation information after questioning me. It took her 10 minutes to check me in (at the very end she thanked me for being an IHG member), and i got my key. She didn't seem that interested in customer service and I got the impression that I was an annoyance. I get to my room. 59 DEGREES!!!! It was freezing. I turned the thermostat to 75, opened the door for 15 minutes and tried to warm up the place while extremely tired. Today, it was Danny. They have no food open after breakfast, so I went to a place, Salata. I got back, and realized I didn't have a plastic fork. I went down to Danny and asked if he could please get me one or allow me to get one. He wanted to sit on his seat, and not help a customer, so was told that the kitchen was closed and I should drive back from where I got the salad. 15 minutes later I get back, and he's still sitting in his comfy chair. It showed me that customer service really doesn't matter here, which is why I won't be back. There are many other hotel options, and I want to go a place where employees care about their job and customer service is #1.

Disappointing Experience!

My husband were in Houston to celebrate my Birthday! We were initially given room 401. The lighting in bathroom was very dim, only the bottom part of the mirror was lit up the rest of it wasn’t working so they advised a part would have to be ordered and changed us to the room next-door room 405 where we found that the door had been placed on the hinges unevenly or incorrectly, which caused a gap! You could see the hallway from the inside and you could see the inside of the room from the hallway, that wasn’t safe at all and the room didn’t have a television remote, so we moved to a third room 421, the third room the water pressure was almost null and the safe didn’t work either because of batteries, so those were replaced the next morning. We were told that the lack of water pressure was due to a boiler issue and he would check into it and let us know something but it never increased and he never got back with us like he said he would so the water stayed a trickle during our entire stay. Breakfast was decent. There were a few children running/stomping loudly up and down the hallway on our floor both morning and night! This stay was a nightmare! I mentioned it to the front desk staff, and she said I know they’re getting on my nerves too. But did nothing about it Manager Judy Corbett advised she would give us 5000 reward points for all our trouble. We got the Runaround from both front desk staff and her. She didn’t bother to contact me until after I’d completed a survey/review on this hotel. My husband and I were very disappointed and dissatisfied with our stay here to say the least. I would say communication with your hotel guests is key! Don’t leave them hanging or guessing about repairs or anything else that is concerning!

My rental car was stolen out of the parking lot!

My rental car was stolen out of the parking lot in the middle of the night. In the morning, the front desk and management staff was most unhelpful, claiming that there was no video footage even though my car was parker right in front of a camera. We then asked to see cameras coming ing and out of the parking lot and they continued to claim that there was no footage. The night shift manager was really helpful and understanding, it's too bad he wasn't around in the morning. On top of that, my room wasn't cleaned on the first night of my stay. If you are looking for a nice, quiet stay - DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

We had 2 rooms reserved. The first room was reserved one night prior to the 2nd night. My daughter took a shower and the water wouldn't drain so we were moved to another room. My son and his family came in on Thanksgiving night. I went to check them in and had reserved a family room. The AC did not work so they were moved into 2 separate rooms since there were no more family rooms and was told there were no adjoining rooms left. The front desk was going to move them to the EXACT room that we had moved from the night before and the room next to it. I asked the lady if they had repaired the room since that's were we had moved from the night before. She told me NO the maintenance was off for Thanksgiving. She then moved them to another 2 rooms that were next to each other on another floor. They stayed that night but they noticed that the daughter seem to have a difficult time breathing. Mom noticed mold then BLOOD on the chair. I went to the front desk AGAIN! Another lady at the front desk and when she went to move them, AGAIN for the 3rd time I was given the EXACT same room that I was given the 1st night-the one that the shower did not drain!!!! That lady said she would remove the room and report it to maintenance. Can't believe this!!! This time we decided to leave one room as is then just move the "girls" room. This time the lady gave me a couple of rooms for me to check out before moving. First try....something dark on the AC unit, 2nd try....maybe OK...3rd try...mold and smelly room due to AC being off. Finally after several tries, the girls finally got a room!!! We had had it! He ended up calling the corporate office and spoke to someone who called the hotel to see WHAT was going on. Oh, and by the way....hardly any food for the "Grab and Go" breakfast. We had to go to a restaurant to eat. When asked about breakfast for the following day, the man at the front desk said they should have food for our last day since the truck was coming in. If you want to use the gym, bring your own wipes and sanitizer since they do not supply anything to wipe down the equipment and the only sanitizer near the gym is down the hall. You may NOT want to stay at this hotel.

Accessible room was horrible

Reserved an accessible room but was given regular room. Went down to desk to switch and the desk clerk was worried that we would have an issue with the only accessible room available was one with 2 double beds instead of the king we had reserved. We let her know it would be fine so she gave us the room. What the desk clerk should have given us a heads up about instead is that the bathroom HAS NO DOOR and the giant opening to the bathroom is directly in line with the main room door to the hall so there's a straight view from the hallway into the bathroom if the room door is open. They also had a full length wall mirror so anyone in the rest of the room has full site of the toilet!! And while the toilet is slightly taller than normal, it does not have a hold bar and people have obviously been using the toilet paper holder for that so it was barely hanging on the wall. Beyond that, the lotion amenity in the bathroom was not even half full so it had obviously been used which is bizarre they wouldn't replace it during COVID cleanliness procedures since I've never been in a hotel room that didn't have new amenities even before COVID. And the TV remote had crud all over it. Unfortunately due to other factors we were not able to change hotels so I can also tell you that the breakfast buffet consisted of rock hard bagels, a couple of selections of cereals, and small cartons of milk and oj.
